DaMar Security Systems is a family run business based within Solihull that aims to serve the local community by utilising nearly 50 years of experience within the industry. Our senior staff are fully trained and qualified to design, install and maintain all aspects of security including Intruder alarms, access control, closed circuit television and fire systems.
The company was founded in 1995 and has grown steadily ever since. We were aware that large multi-national companies owned the majority of the industry at the time and aimed to offer an honest, reliable and courteous service with top class workmanship while offering all clients a personal, yet affordable service.
Due to this approach, we have built up a base of over 2000 clients, with 92 percent of clients returning to DaMar for maintenance contracts year after year. Over the years we have gotten to know our clients, which also means that our clients will always know who is responsible for their alarm, and who will be entering their premises at all times, which in todays climate is essential.
In 2003, the company gained industry recognition in the form of Silver Certification from the National Accreditation Council for Security Systems (NACOSS), which is now known as the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) and along with this accreditation comes UKAS recognition. This not only offers all potential clients the peace of mind that our work practices meet the excessively high standard required for accreditation, but also offers DaMar Security Systems the opportunity to tender for, and maintain, Police signalling Intruder Alarm systems.
Following on from this, DaMar is working towards becoming SSAIB approved, which is a technical certificating body for the security industry, and we expect to be fully accredited by Summer 2009.
Damar offers a range of services to their clients, including repairs to existing systems. Offering this service has allowed us to protect a larger client base at a fraction of the cost of a brand new install, as we only replace any faulty parts instead of insisting that an entirely new system be installed.
Only top of the range, cutting edge technology that has proven reliability is used for our systems, ensuring that false alarms and faults are very rare, while constant negotiations with suppliers ensure that the lowest prices are always achieved.
